Absolutely balanced – the ballasting.

XERION 5000-4000

CLAAS has developed a simple ballasting concept for optimal tractive power. The individual ballast plates can be installed at the front or rear to cover a range of applications. Ease of attachment and detachment guarantees a high level of flexibility.

Two ballasting options are available ex factory:

  • 18 t machine operational weight
  • 21 t machine operational weight

1,800 kg as permanently mounted base weight.

XERION 5000-4000

1,800 kg as base weight for front hydraulics.

XERION 5000-4000

400 kg modular plate.

XERION 5000-4000

The front ballast can be increased to max. 3,200 kg with up to four plates.

XERION 5000-4000

The baseplate for the rear ballast weighs approx. 200 kg and offers sufficient space for a maximum of eight plates.

XERION 5000-4000

With eight plates attached, the total weight at the rear is 3,400 kg.
